20 Articles on Writing Marketing and Self-Publishing - Week 35 - Novel Experience

A Collection of 20 Articles to Help you Write a Book

I’m writing this whilst hurtling down the A303 in the South West of  England.

When you stop taking technology for granted and really think about it the fact that we can work seamlessly from a moving car with the same proficiency as I can from an office is an amazing thing. If you’d told me even 20 years ago that I’d be working in a car on internet based platforms I’d have suspected you of insanity or a bad case of science fiction addiction yet now we take it for granted.

It makes me wonder what the next 20 years will hold. Maybe instead of being driven I’ll be in a car that’s driving itself and offices will be a thing of the past. As long as everyone is still reading books I’ll be content.

  1. “If you’d told me even 20 years ago that I’d be working in a car on internet based platforms …”.

Indeed! Unfortunately, the MEGA HUGE spikes in radiation arising from using mobile devices when on the move mean that you may, within another 20 years or so, find you have serious health issues.

Nonetheless, thanks for a great article!

  2. Trevor says:

I couldn’t do that – I get car sick if I’m not looking at the road, even as a passenger.

But the idea of writing while driving (presumably someone else behind the wheel) could make long, boring car journeys a thing of the past. So long as you looked up occasionally since the A303 passes Stonehenge and that’s always worth a glance.

Thanks for the list of articles – I’ve delved into a few of them already and found them useful. Thanks again!
